Need a Tuxedo?

Suit?

Gown?

Celebrations Bridal-Tux is here to assist!

I’m renting my tux/suit through Celebrations Bridal-Tux what do I need to do?

1.     Click on the tux tips button at the top of any page on this web site and print the measurement card.

2.     Take the measurement card to any Formal Wear specialist in your area.  Get measured.  If possible ask to try on a coat in the size they recommend to check out the fit.  If you are unable to try on a coat, don’t panic, we will work with the specialist’s measurements.  Don’t self-measure, or provide us with the sizes you think you wear – formal wear fits and is sized differently from everyday clothing.  Incorrect measurements may result in additional costs to you.  Please note:  children should be measured within one month of the event – due to the fact that we never know when one of those growth spurts is going to occur.

3.     We are not responsible for called in or mailed measurements.  Incorrect measurements may result in additional costs to you.

4.     Measurements and a $20.00 non-refundable reservation fee must be received by Celebrations Bridal-Tux no later than 16 days before the event date.  VISA, MasterCard, Discover are acceptable forms of payment.  Measurements and reservation fees may be mailed to the address shown on the front of the measurement card or phoned in to the toll-free number shown on the back of the measurement card.  If credit card is used for payment there is a $1.00 processing fee incurred.  Please insure the billing name and address for the credit card are provided.

5.     Payment of the rental balance is required no later than 9 days before the event date.  VISA, MasterCard, Discover are acceptable forms of payment.  A credit card number is also required for security however; no additional charges will be incurred when your tux/suit is returned on time and in good condition.

6.     Your tuxedo/suit rental will be available for pick-up typically one or two days prior to the event.  Call and arrange an appointment for your pick-up.  At pick-up we strongly recommend you try on your tuxedo/suit to insure proper fit.

I’m purchasing my gown from Celebrations Bridal-Tux what do I need to do?

1.     Determine your correct measurements.  This is best done by a professional at a bridal store or a women's boutique.  Having the fiancé, your mom or your best friend do the measurements is NOT recommended! Measuring yourself is definitely not recommended!  The key to purchasing the correct size gown is obtaining the correct measurements.  You will need to know your bust, waist, hip and hollow to hem measurements.  Without knowing EACH of them... Well... you'll be lost.

2.     Now a quick word on gown sizes.  Forget what size you wear in your everyday apparel.  Designer gowns are NOT ready to wear sizes.  Sooooo... in all probability you'll find that the correct dress size is a larger number than you'd like to see.  Forget your issues with a larger dress size.  If that's the correct size...then that's what you should buy.

3.     Measurements and deposits may be mailed to the address shown on the front of the measurement card or phoned in to the toll-free number shown on the back of the measurement card.  VISA, MasterCard, Discover are acceptable forms of payment.  If credit card is used for payment there is a $1.00 processing fee incurred.  Please insure the billing name and address for the credit card are provided.

4.     When you order your gown, make sure you have a seamstress that is capable of performing the alterations you may require.  This is especially true with bridal gowns.  In many cases the gown may require special alterations such as having the hem taken up at the waist rather than the more traditional hemming by simply turning up material at the bottom of your gown.  Remember once you gown is ordered it is YOUR gown.  The designers generally do not carry any hanging stock, so once your order is received they will begin to create a gown just for you!

5.     Last but not least is the timeframe for ordering a gown.  While the times differ by designer, you should use the following as a guideline for ordering.  (We've shown the longest times for gowns to help you understand all of the possible time constraints you may encounter.) If your date for delivery falls inside of these guidelines it is still possible to expedite delivery... but you must contact us to be sure.
